Privacy and safety
Your divorce is nobody's business but yours.
Your case file holds your finances, your children's details and the hardest facts of your life. Here is how we protect it, in plain words.

Safeguards
How we protect your case
Encrypted in transit
Every page and file travels over an encrypted connection.
Files kept out of public reach
Uploaded files are stored outside public reach and only stream to you, or to a professional you choose.
Sharing by consent
A professional sees your case only for a request you shared, and only until you turn sharing off.
An audit trail
Sign-ins, shares, document views and deletions are logged.
Export any time
Download everything we hold about your case in one file.
Delete for good
Delete your account and your case, documents, files and conversations are erased.
If you are worried about your spouse
Privacy steps for your own devices.
Use a device and email your spouse has never had access to. Turn on two-factor sign in, check for shared locations and synced browsers, and sign out when you finish. If you are afraid for your safety, read our safety guide or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

Straight answers
Things people ask us first
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your case for advertising.
Does the AI train on my case?
Your case is used to answer your questions. When we use an outside AI provider to write answers, we send only what is needed for that answer, under that provider's business terms.
Who at KindSplit can see my case?
A small number of staff can access accounts to fix problems you report or keep the service secure. Access is limited and logged.
