How do I know which path fits?

What if my spouse already has a lawyer?
We recommend at least an hour with a lawyer of your own. The Attorney-backed plan includes one every month.
Can I switch paths later?
Yes. Your case file, documents and conversations come with you. Many people start self-guided and add a specialist or lawyer when they need one.
Are court fees included?
No. Filing fees are paid to your court and usually run from about $80 to $450 depending on the state and county. Every state offers a fee waiver if you cannot afford them.
